Emmanuel Tammy Gilbert, Esq. is a graduate of the Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, where he obtained an LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) (Honours) degree in 1999. He attended the Nigerian Law School, Abuja between October, 1999 and November, 2000 and obtained a BL (Barrister at Law) Certificate. He was called to the Nigerian Bar to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in January, 2001.
He has practiced in the superior courts of record in Nigeria, since 2001. His areas of practice include Conflict Resolution/Litigation, Criminal Law and Procedure, Industrial Law and Practice, Legal Due Diligence, Law of Contract, Aviation/Admiralty Law as well as Property Law. He has also worked with some notable Law Firms in Nigeria. He was an Associate in George & Stevenson & Morrison, Anga & Emuwa, which later merged with other law firms to form Aelex Partners.
Emmanuel Tammy Gilbert Esq. has also worked briefly as an in-house legal counsel with the Port Harcourt Water Corporation and has handled a World Bank Project for the implementation of the Third Urban Water & Sanitation Project – PHWSP from 2015 to 2017. He has also attended various courses for continuous professional development, including a course on Contract Management and Procurement in Pretoria, South Africa in 2017.
He is reliable and totally devoted to legal practice and has a working philosophy to address every given task not from the point of an obligation as much as from devotion to the client.
